Al Pepper - GPS Training Ambassador
We are pleased to announce that we now have the first-ever GPS Training ambassador, Al Pepper.
Al is a vlogger on YouTube who we have been following for some time now so we are over the moon he has agreed to be an ambassador for GPS Training.
Al announced it to his followers via Instagram last month.
How did this come about?
On a recent video, after completing the Yorkshire Dales three Peaks Ultra Al commented he really wished he had a GPS watch, after he struggled to find one of the checkpoints.
After this we reached out to Al to see if there was some way we could work together.
He describes the navigational problems he was having in the video below, post this event.

The GPS Training team walking with Al earlier this year
The GPS Training team first met Al as he participated in this years Cheviot Challenge.
x 4 of the GPS Training staff also took part in this event.
In the video below (starting at 9:09) you will first see when Al comes across Tracy ,number 11, Katherine, number 199 (who both work for GPS Training) and their friend Karen, number 236, as they reached the summit of one of the many climbs on this event.
Elite/ professional athlete??
Since we started working with Al, he has said that over the last few weeks a number of people have mentioned about him now being a 'professional athlete' after teaming up with GPS Training.
It has made us all smile.
He again mentioned this in a recent video, please see that below (45 seconds in).
Over the coming months we will be working with Al Pepper to not only ensure he gets the most out of his GPS watch, but also to support him in what ever way we can.
I hope you agree, it is great to have our first ambassador onboard for GPS Training and I think we have got a great, positive and enthusiastic person to work with.
