Our Returns Policy
On line Purchases - Items returned within the fourteen-day cooling-off period
Under the 'Consumer Contracts Regulations' (The Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013), you have a 14 day 'cooling-off period' after you have received the goods.
The Regulations states that you the consumer has 14 days, commencing the day after delivery, to inform us of your wish to cancel your purchase and to return the goods. You then have a further 14 days from the date of that communication in which to actually return the goods to us.
The right to return is unconditional and cannot be refused, but we are able to deduct a reasonable charge for diminished value in the goods, caused by the consumer handling them beyond what is necessary to establish their nature, characteristics, and function.
The general test is whether the goods have been handled in a way beyond what would be reasonably allowed in a shop.
If the product has been 'lightly used' (within that 14-day cooling-off period), we will have to sell the unit in this way, i.e lightly used, and your refund will therefore be 80% to 90% of the amount you paid.
Where you are withdrawing from your purchase within the fourteen-day cooling-off period, and there has been no error on our part, we will refund the cost of the item (after deduction of any reasonable diminished charge, if necessary) and the cost of sending the item to you as follows:
• where you are returning an item that was part of a larger order, we'll refund the per-item charge for the item that you incurred at the time of order.
• where you are returning an entire order, we will refund applicable per-item delivery charges and the per-delivery charge that you incurred.
• we will refund only our standard postage charges for all items delivered.
• where we collect an item from you, we reserve the right to recover the costs of collection from you.
• You will be liable and pay for the items to be returned to Shepherds Walks Ltd. We cannot be held responsible for returns lost in the post.
Please return with all original packaging and paperwork.
In Person Purchases
Items purchased in person, whether in store, at shows or on a course are not covered by the 14 day cooling off period and can not, therefore be returned for refund for this reason.
This does not affect your right to return faulty items.
Damaged and/or defective item- You have the right to a full refund within 30 days of taking delivery of items that are of unsatisfactory quality, unfit for purpose, or not as described. (This does not apply to digital downloads)
- We will repair or replace any defective or faulty item within six months of purchase
- You can also use your guarantee or warranty if your product develops a fault
GPS Training (part of Shepherds Walks Ltd - Company number 09826678) will check all items returned as damaged or defective. In the event we find no fault, we reserve the right to re-charge you for the item/s and to recover our fees and expenses from you.
GPS Training (part of Shepherds Walks Ltd - Company number 09826678) reserves the right to charge the price of the original order if you do not return the original item to us within 30 days.
If the item becomes defective (after 30 days of receipt)
In the unlikely event that you have a faulty item, you will find it quicker and easier to contact the manufacturer directly so that they can rectify the problem for you.
If we sent you an item you did not order (an "incorrect" item)

When will I receive my Refund?
Our refunds policy does not affect your statutory rights.
When you send your item back to us, we will process the returned item then notify you via e-mail of your refund.
You can expect a refund in the same form of payment originally used for purchase within 7 - 10 days of our receiving your return.
As we do not hold your card details on file we may have to contact you to get these, so we can refund a debit or credit card.
