Why does the 1:25k Ordnance Survey map card and the Garmin Montana 700i and 750i?
The most asked question of the second half of 2020 has been - Why does the 1:25k map card not work in the Garmin Montana 700i and 750i?
It’s quite a story this, when Garmin launched the new Montana range nobody knew about the problems that lay ahead. We had all the models, the Garmin Montana 700, Montana 700i and Montana 750i all listed on our website with the 1:25k Ordnance Survey map card.
Only when we received the GPS units and came to set them up, as we do for our customers, did we come across the problem.
The problem was -
Both the Garmin Montana 700i and Montana 750i does not read the 1:25k Ordnance Survey map card.
It’s a long, long story. But don’t worry, it’s a good one.
