Overview
Open Street maps (osm) are a type of routable mapping, both on and off road, we have put onto a mapping card for a Garmin GPS.
This version is fully compatible with Garmin's free planning computer software. Simply install your osm SD card into your device and connect your GPS to your computer (PC).

Once your device is recognised then you will be able to view the selected maps in BaseCamp for planning and data management.

OR

Locate the install file on the sd card and follow the instructions to put it onto your PC. You can then have osm on BaseCamp even without your GPS being plugged in.

Features

Open Street maps (osm) are compatible with any new generation Garmin Handheld Colour GPS that offers an SD card slot.

Cost covers the SD card, download time, testing of the Maps in a GPS unit and instructions for your GPS.

Specs

OpenStreetMap is built by a community of mappers that contribute and maintain data about roads, trails, cafés, railway stations, and much more, all over the world.

Local Knowledge

OpenStreetMap emphasises local knowledge. Contributors use aerial imagery, GPS devices, and low-tech field maps to verify that OSM is accurate and up to date.

Community Driven

OpenStreetMap's community is diverse, passionate, and growing every day. Our contributors include enthusiast mappers, GIS professionals, engineers running the OSM servers, humanitarians mapping disaster-affected areas, and many more. To learn more about the community, see the user diaries, community blogs, and the OSM Foundation website.

Open Data

OpenStreetMap is open data: you are free to use it for any purpose as long as you credit OpenStreetMap and its contributors. If you alter or build upon the data in certain ways, you may distribute the result only under the same licence.
