Do you have a .gpx file that throws an error message when you upload it to your GPS unit/ GPS Watch, or when you try to import it into a route planning software?

1. When using Ordnance Survey's own route planner, elevation data is not included with exported .gpx files

2. Some route planning software (including Ordnance Survey planner) leaves waypoints on the planned track/ course.

Elevation uses public DEM APIs (SRTM90m → EUDEM25m → ETOPO1 → Open-Elevation) with batching and timeouts.

If this does not solve the problem, please take a look at GPS Visualizer, import a .gpx file and choose to export it as a .gpx.
