- Year 1 includes a one-time activation fee of £39.99.
- Once you've had an active plan for at least one month, Emergency SOS messaging keeps working even when you're not on a contract.
- This free SOS cover lasts for up to 12 months from your last active month.
- To keep it going, go back onto a one-month plan within that 12 months. That single month refreshes your free SOS for a further 12 months.
- If you let it lapse beyond 12 months, SOS stops working. To switch it back on you'll need to pay the £39.99 activation fee plus one month's plan, which then gives you a further 12 months of free SOS.
- Messaging, tracking and weather requests only work while you're on an active plan — they don't continue during the free-SOS period.
- Messages & weather requests share the same allowance per plan.
