Castle to Castle 100

On 4th July 2026, I'll be taking on the Rat Race Castle to Castle 100, a 100-mile challenge from Bamburgh Castle to Edinburgh Castle.

I'm raising funds for the amazing volunteers at Northumberland National Park Mountain Rescue Team, helping support their vital work and contributing towards a new rescue vehicle, which will cost around £150,000.

This is what your donation helps support.
Northumberland National Park Mountain Rescue Team is currently raising funds towards a new £150,000 rescue vehicle. Operating across some of the most remote areas of Northumberland, the team relies on specialist vehicles to transport equipment, reach incidents quickly and support volunteers during call-outs in all weather conditions.

Why I'm Doing This

Mountain Rescue teams are there when people need them most, often operating in difficult conditions, remote locations and all weathers.

As someone who spends a lot of time in the outdoors, I've seen first-hand the importance of having highly trained volunteers ready to respond when things go wrong.

Every donation, large or small, will help support this incredible team and their efforts to secure a new rescue vehicle for Northumberland.
