New - Clean Up OS GPX Files in Seconds (Free Tool)
If you plan routes in OS Maps / OS Explore and then export a GPX for another device or app, you’ve probably seen two common headaches:
- No elevation data in the exported GPX (OS only shows it inside their own app).
- Hundreds of little “flag” waypoints where you clicked while planning.
Our free GPX File Cleaner (on the GPS Training website) fixes both in one go — perfect before you send a route to a TwoNav unit or into the Suunto app/watch.
What the cleaner does
- Adds missing elevation to your GPX.
- Removes click-flags/waypoints without changing the route shape.
- Gives you a clean GPX ready to copy to your GPS or share to your phone/app.
