Buy your Garmin map card now - prices go up 1st October
Garmin is putting the price of its microSD map cards up on 1st October 2026. If you've been thinking about buying one, this is your window.
The two we sell most, TOPO Great Britain 1:25K and 1:50K, are both going up by £70 - and that rise carries straight through to our bundle prices too.

Garmin has confirmed the increase across its microSD map card range, and it's a straightforward one: buy before 1st October, or pay more from that date on.

Not upgrading your unit just yet?
Buy the map card now anyway. It locks in today's price, and because it's on a card rather than downloaded straight onto a unit, it isn't tied to the GPS you own right now.
💡 Our take: this is the real advantage of buying maps on a card rather than downloading them. A downloaded map stays with the unit you put it on. A map card simply comes out of one Garmin and goes into the next, so buying now doesn't commit you to your current unit - it just locks in the price.
